The Contour is an everyday chair that offers functional, inexpensive and utilitarian characteristics while at the same time making a statement on contemporary form and manufacturing. The sides of the chair are CNC milled contour curves that serve as legs, seat, back rest and structure. The upholstered seat and back are sandwiched between and contour curves to provide support. An upholstered exterior piece is friction fitted into a shallow recess to allude to the seat and back and accentuate the overall form of the chair.
