Specializing in high-end spa and salon treatments, Chrome was crafted by Jesse Sherburne and Milan Krepelka to provide its young affluent clientele with the ultimate in contemporary interior treatments. The sweeping curves and dramatic angles of the interior were designed to play off the salons name and draw inspiration from European sports car of the sixties. At the same time the colored glass barriers and under-lit plexiglass shelves point to a futuristic style that accentuates the importance of the technology inherent in the specialty products exclusive to the salon. The interior of the salon is also designed to offer the clientele a fluid atmosphere that can constantly be adjusted to accommodate various changing weather conditions and moods. This is accomplished through the use of a concealed tri-color neon lighting system (Pre-RGB LED's!) that can change the interior colors to vary throughout the color spectrum. The atmosphere is further heightened through the employment of a full-time DJ who plays on a fiberglass pearl pink DJ table designed by Karim Rashid.
